Best Time to Visit
September to June — rafting best in Sep–Nov and Mar–May. December–February is cold but peaceful for yoga. Avoid July–August (monsoon, rafting stopped).
How to Reach
Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (40 km) — flights from Delhi. Then taxi to Rishikesh.
Haridwar Junction (25 km) is the nearest major station — then bus or auto to Rishikesh.
From Delhi: 6–7 hrs by Volvo from ISBT Kashmere Gate. Very frequent departures.
